Here's a look at the pink outfit she comes dressed in.
First look at the shoes
Patsy out of the box!
Here she is out of the box fully. She stands about 10 inches tall. Those little pink bloomers are just adorable on her!

Here's a closeup on her sweet face. She has a light skin tone, and her makeup palette goes very well with those green-ish eyes and auburn hair.

Patsy strikes a pose!
Patsy's bending knees lets her strike more poses than older model Ann Estelle. I do wish her arms had elbow joints, but that doesn't lessen my adoration of her.

Back of the outfit
The outfit top closes with snaps in the back. The bloomers have elastic at the waist.
Full outfit
Here is the full outfit Patsy Basic #4 comes in.
It includes sleeveless top, bloomers, socks, and shoes.
Cloesup on hair
The wig is glued to her head. If I want to swap it out, I'll have some work to do.
Closeup on hair-front
The wig is glued to her head, and it is on there. If I decide to swap out the wig, it's going to take a gentle version of a jackhammer to get the wig loose, I suspect. But that's still a good thing, since we know the wig won't flop or slide around while she is getting photographed.

Comparing dolls
Here is an old model Ann Estelle next to the new Basic #4, who is also next to the 2013 Patsy's New Year doll.
Ann Estelle's body is a 99% match, ignoring the lack of knee joints.
Doll comparison-closeup
You can see the slight differences in skin tone between the dolls. Ann Estelle is more tan than the Basic #4. Basic #4 isn't quite the same skin tone as Patsy's New Year.
Patsy comparison-closeup
The eyes are nearly identical. You can see how soft the makeup is on both dolls, which I love. Just a hint of rosy cheeks!

Patsy vs Bambicrony Lottie
My Bambicrony Lottie is very similar in size and body shape to Patsy. She's skinnier, but her height is about the same. Her resin, joints and changeable eyes will always make her more versatile than Patsy, but it's nice to know I can have my dolls share a lot of outfits and props.

The two Patsys
New Year Patsy seems to be intent on telling Basic #4 the local gossip.

What a sweet face!
This is the first time I've had to have a 2nd version of a doll. Normally I've sold off the "old" one, and made room for the new.
The wig and slightly different eyebrow paint makes this Patsy have a different personality than New Year. I am very glad I pre-ordered ths doll!
