Looking Pretty Groovy!

I've been trying a new hair technique/style on the Pocket Poppets, and have been enjoying the results.  It takes me a lot longer to do, but the color variation, and the firm hold to the point I can run a comb through the doll's hair, is totally worth it.  I hope folks will agree when I start listing these in the Etsy store. :)

Here is a preview of things to come:

Three New Pocket Poppet Dolls

Time has flown by, but I at least finally got some pics taken of the stash of Pocket Poppet dolls I've had ready for a while now.

I also made up two dolls from the last pattern I purchased with the button leg joints, the one I can't actually sell.  I did one stuffed with polyester fiberfil, and the other stuffed with pure wool.  I'll get photos of both done hopefully by the end of this upcoming weekend, and do a comparison of working with polyster versus wool stuffing.

But for now, here are three new Pocket Poppet dolls, ready for purchase in my Etsy store.  :)

Preparing For The Holiday Rush!

The craft bazaar I signed up for is right around the corner, and naturally I am nowhere near my goal of completed items for it.  But, something that has been taking up at least 2-3 hours of my time every evening for several years has finally been taken off my plate, and I can now use my evenings to sew and knit.  This just wrapped up last week, so I'm still in a bit of shock, but I did a lot of sewing this weekend, so I think I can get into the proper swing of things pretty quick.  :D

In the meantime, I did complete two ponies, and four Pocket Foxes.  I'll be listing half on eBay, but the other half is getting set aside for that bazaar.

And I already have six little dolls ready for wardrobes, and another four Binky Boos cut out and ready to sew up.  I have a little less than three weeks to get ready now, but I like to think I work well under pressure.  At least when it's something I enjoy doing.  :D
